Late Shri Surendra Vikram Singh(Founder)

P.B.R. Agriculture Degree College is situated in Gausganj town on Sandila-Mallawana road which is 23 Km from Sandila and only 14 Km away from Mallawana. It is 11 Km South from Balamanu railway station. The concept and idea and dream of P.B.R Agriculture Degree college was originated by renowned Sh. Surendra Vikram Singh Ji. The foundation of this Degree College was laid by Sh. Surendra Vikram Singh in 1952 with the active support of his four friends Sh. Shriram Verma (Terwa, Dahigawan) Sh. Nagendra Nath Chaturvedi (Behsar), Sh. Shriram Singh Dadda (Purwanyan), Sh. Mohan Lal Dewadi (Mallawan) by constituting a Rashtriya Ucchatar Madhyamik Madhyamik Vidhayalya, Terwa, Gausganj Shikshan Sanstha. Later on two social ladies donated their half of the properties in the name of this Shikshan Sanstha. By this cause the name of the college had been changed "Patel Bataso Rajrani Intermediate College", Terwa, Gausganj, Hardoi.

According to Tagore “the aim of education to produce not the physical or intellectual, not the political or the economical, But the moral spiritual man. Here at P.B.R. Agriculture Degree College has dedicated it self in facilitating the motto “Educating for life in to Action” Agriculture and science are the major streams of professional promising good career prospects both monetarily and in terms of the highest strata of the society. Competitions are important for the holistic development of the student. I believe that freedom of speech, expression and choice are of paramount importance to establish a secular and democratic institution. I believe that this college is providing best Agriculture and Science education regularly to the students by the well qualified teaching staff. Who have employed their best efforts in fulfilling the aspirations of the students in this institution. I honestly own my utmost gratitude to god for showering his abundant blessings in every step of my life and helping me in all my endeavors. Looking forward to prosperous, peaceful and progressive future.

India is a Agricultural country, seventy five percent population survives in the villages. The development of villages is the real achievement of the country. . Helping villages, is the establishment of a country’s development. Real soul of the country, lives in the villages, for the development of the happy country. Higher education is being provided in this college from last three years. During very short spell, the college has gained momentum and appreciated by the over all development of the college by the Registrar CSJM University, Kanpur. Further, let me also recognize the active support and encouragement of the Parents, Society and the Teachers to mature the academic tone of the P.B.R. Agriculture Degree College Terwa, Gausganj, Hardoi May God Bless You all.

I feel extremely honoured to be the Manager of PBR Agriculture Degree College, Terwa, Gausganj, Hardoi. The College has established to cater to the needs of Agriculture education in the district. It is one of the premier educational institutions of District Hardoi. It has vast and beautiful campus in pollution free environment, which sprawls over 15 acres of land having vast playgrounds, experimental fields, botanical garden, rose garden, statues of great personalities, gymnasium, indoor stadium, well equipped library, hostels for boys, spacious auditorium, guest house, community centre, weather station, etc. In the College campus, there are well maintained 08 regular departments undertaking teaching and research under various faculties, like Agriculture Extension, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, English, Statistics, Agronomy, Agriculture Chemistry.
